Some good news and some bad news.

First the good news. It would appear to any reasonable man that i am a little more than another unrepentant on-line panhandler. What can i say? It's right there for everybody to see. And i haven't met any obligations, real or imagined.

Now the bad news... What am i telling you this for??

Don't worry it's always darkest before the dawn.

i must find a way to straighten this out.

The Tears of an Angel
i went and talked to Mr. Cheng's sister yesterday. She has a warehouse in the East Bay. Although apparently initially ambivalent about outright offering me a job, she decided to do so anyway. i start tomorrow and i am researching the mass transit possibilities so that i can get there in the morning. She seemed concerned about my van, enough so as to warrant making me a loan. As a result i was able to get my van insured, again, the first step in getting it street legal. When i become mobile again, doors are bound to open up for me jobwise.

Yesterday of course i was a happy camper. i went online to pull down some insurance quotes, with the sole intent of getting my van street legal and dependable. Next is doing smog repairs and for that i need to cruise the junkyards for some parts. Buying these parts new is currently out of the question and i will do so only as a last resort.

Welcome to Paradise Lost. This is the blog of an ordinary hard working homeless man who lives in California. This is the true no holds barred chronicle of one man's steps out of politically correct insanity, politically motivated classist poverty and homelessness. Prepare for a first hand glimpse into the gritty and unforgiving underworld of the homeless, the flip side American Dream.

i am also a social activist of sorts, so expect to find a wide range of pro-active humanist content here.
